The forms reminded me of cilia, villi, trachea, tadpoles, egg yolks, cells and seeds.
It brought me to the idea of a Wunderkammer:  A cabinet of curiosities where strange and beautiful things were collected simply because they were worth looking at. Perhaps that’s how my mind works too: I collect fragments from biology, books, nature and memory without insisting that they belong together.
A little anatomy,

A little botany,

A little imagination,

And a generous amount of nonsense.

Perhaps curiosity itself is a collection of things we don’t understand yet, but are unwilling to stop looking at.
